Social studies
Social studies represent combined and methodical study of numerous areas of social science/ humanities, among which economics, civics, archaeology, law, philosophy, religion, history, geography, culture, sociology, political science etc. infrequently drawing knowledge from natural sciences, math and other studies.
What is science?
The word “science” perhaps brings to mind numerous dissimilar pictures: a fat textbook, white lab coats and microscopes, an astronomer peering through a telescope, a naturalist in the rainforest, Einstein’s equations scribbled on a chalkboard, the launch of the space shuttle, bubbling beakers …. All of those images reproduce some feature of science.
Define Science?
According to Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, the definition of science is: "knowledge attained through study or practice,"
"Knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, esp. as obtained and tested through scientific method [and] concerned with the physical world."
Mathematics
The science of structure, order, and relation that has evolved from elemental practices of counting, measuring, and describing the shapes of objects. It deals with logical reasoning and quantitative calculation, and its development has involved an increasing degree of idealization and abstraction of its subject matter.
What is mathematics?
Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement. Math is all around us, in everything we do. It is the building block for everything in our daily lives, including mobile devices, computers, software, architecture (ancient and modern), art, money, engineering and even sports.
Urdu
Urdu an Indo-Aryan language spoken chiefly in South Asia. It is the national language and lingua franca of Pakistan, where it is also an official language alongside English. In India, Urdu is an Eighth Schedule language whose status and cultural heritage is recognized by the Constitution of India; it also has an official status in several Indian states. In Nepal, Urdu is a registered regional dialect.
Islamic Studies / Islamiat
Islamiat or Islamic Studies is the study of Islam. It enables learners to develop an understanding of the importance of the major beliefs of Islam, and of the early history of the Islamic community.
